Mr. Ott is currently a Senior Operating Partner at MCM Capital and President of Zinkan Enterprises, a MCM portfolio company manufacturing and distributing specialty chemicals. Prior to joining MCM and Zinkan, Mr. Ott was the President and COO of ASPEX, a former MCM-controlled entity, providing integrated microanalysis solutions serving a wide range of industries and markets. Mr. Ott was responsible for setting the overall company direction with the objective of growth in revenues and EBITDA through new products, markets and international sales channels. Prior to being named President, he worked with the organization as an operational expert to support the review and revamping of the company’s infrastructure. He restructured all operation disciplines including sales, operations, and accounting. Before joining ASPEX, Mr. Ott was Vice President of Operations at Edward W. Daniel Co., and a Business Unit Manager at ITW Anchor Fasteners.
Additionally, Mr. Ott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Business Administration from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western University. He currently resides in Hudson, Ohio where he lives with his wife and enjoys spending time with his two adult children, classic cars, golfing, and volunteering at St. Mary’s Parish.
